We Finally have power!!!! Praise GOD!
You never know what you got till it's gone.
That saying is all so true. You don't realize that you take so many things for granted. Do you ever stop and think about just turning on the light switch? I never did until this ice storm hit us. This storm took out the power in the entire town. Who would have ever thought that an entire town would be without power? Never thought it could happen to us, but it did. Like so many others around here, we never stopped to think how the victims from the hurricane felt. I am not saying that our situation was that bad, luckily there were only a few casualties, but all I am saying, is never take anything for granted.
You really never know what you got till it's gone.

Until next time,
May GOD Bless you this day!

I can't believe this, I have never seen anything like this in my life. I am now going on 10 days with no power. Our power company is doing everything they can, and have even have other power companies from other states have come down to help, but I am so ready to go home, and sleep in my own bed. 10 days with no power is crazy. All I can do is pray to the Lord, and keep my faith.

Please keep this area in your prayers.

Until next time,
May GOD Bless you.

ICE ICE and More ICE!!!!

Have we had a terrible time here in southeast Missouri. We had an ice storm come through, and take power out in the whole town. I have been without power for 1 week now, and have been staying with my parents, with my family, and my 2 brothers, and there families. That makes 14 people, and 4 dogs. Luckily, one of my brothers got power a couple of days ago, and they got to go home, if envy was not a sin, I would be envious. I had major damage to my home, and may be without power for a couple of weeks. Lord I hope not, but could be a while. I don't mind staying with my parents, it is just not comfortable not being in your own bed, and sitting in your own chair, and watching your own tv. Luckily I have a generator, and mom and dad has gas heat, or we would be in trouble. But, GOD Will provide for all things, and bless us, and all that has helped in this crisis.
I hope to be home soon!

Until next time May God bless you on this day.

Wow! Where has the time gone?

I just can't believe that January is almost over. I haven't had a chance to breath since Christmas. But what a time we had over the holidays. Just like everyone else, we spent money we didn't have to spend, but I guess that is the American way right? Well anyway, I just wanted to get back to a daily routine, since I haven't been on here since December. I don't even know where the time went. With all the "hoopla" with the season of giving, time just seemed to slip away.
I do hope everyone had a great and wonderful Christmas, and hope all will have a Great New Year as well.
Now it is time to get back to the swing of things, and get started on those "new year's resolutions" that everyone has and does nothing about. Mine is to get back into shape, and not round, I am tired of being round in the middle. I have started on a workout routine, and starting to feel a lot better.
Until next time,
May GOD Bless you today, and the days to come as well.
